This notice explains what ClearClaim does with personal information when you use heyamped.xyz, submit a case, or track one. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
1. Who we are
ClearClaim is a copyright enforcement and DMCA takedown service operated by ClearClaim IP Enforcement, run by Matthew Hitchman and Tristan Joyce, at 6 Royal Quay, Liverpool L3 4EX, United Kingdom.
For UK GDPR purposes we are the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact: tristan.joyce@clearclaimip.com.
[ICO REGISTRATION — still to do. Most UK organisations processing personal data electronically must register with the Information Commissioner's Office and pay the annual data protection fee. Check your position at ico.org.uk/registration and add the number here once registered.]
2. What we collect

We do not ask for, and do not want, your account passwords or login details for any platform. No part of our service requires them.
3. Information typed but not submitted
Please read this part. If you begin filling in the case form and then leave without submitting it, what you have typed so far may still be sent to us. This happens roughly ten seconds after you start typing, or when you close the tab.
We do this so that a case which someone abandons partway through can still be picked up, which in practice means urgent situations do not get missed. It is disclosed on the form itself as well as here.
If you would rather we did not receive this, do not type into the form. You can contact us on Discord or Telegram instead, or email us at tristan.joyce@clearclaimip.com. You can also ask us to delete anything received this way, and we will.
4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To assess and handle your case — necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract.
- To reply to you — the same basis.
- To pick up abandoned enquiries, as described above — our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients promptly, balanced against your interests, which is why it is disclosed prominently and why deletion is available on request.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
5. Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site. Each processes data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Enforcement filings. Where we act for you, filing a notice with a platform will normally require identifying the rights holder. We will tell you what a given filing discloses before we submit it, and we will not name you in a filing without your agreement.
6. How long we keep it

7. Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and there is no analytics platform on this site. Your browser's local storage is used for two things only: remembering the music player's volume and which tracks you have liked, and a flag so the visitor counter does not count you twice. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have information deleted, including anything captured before you submitted a form;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you raised it with us first.

9. International transfers
Some providers listed above are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where information is transferred there, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. 10. Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated version applies.
